Owner, Legacy Homes of Auburn

Buck Starr is a native of Auburn, Alabama and has been actively investing in the manufactured housing asset class for over 25 years. He has followed his family business that began in 1970 with the development of multiple student-based MH communities in the Auburn area. In 2020, he opened a retail sales center servicing the surrounding student-based MHC communities. Over the past 20 years, he has developed and managed communities that focus on specific needs within the local market. With a focus on providing affordable student housing in the Manufactured Home and RV space, Buck has created multiple niche communities that have thrived for the targeted residents. Legacy Homes of Auburn has fully integrated sales, service, development and management of communities in the surrounding area. Legacy also provides site development and management for growing community owners. As an alumni of Auburn University with a degree in business management, Buck continues to lead the Legacy team forward into new MHC opportunities.
