Our commitment to making SECO work for everyone.

Our commitment
SECO is a nonprofit built by and for our community, and we want the conference — and this website — to work for everyone. We are committed to making secoconference.com usable for people of all abilities.
The standard we are working toward
We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. A full accessibility audit is on our roadmap. We are not fully there yet, and we would rather be honest about that than claim otherwise.
What is in place today
As we build and maintain the site, we work to:
- Label form fields so they work with screen readers
- Keep interactive components operable by keyboard
- Respect your “reduce motion” setting and tone animations down when it is on
- Require descriptive alt text for images uploaded to the site
At the venue
SECO26 is held at The Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia. For details about the hotel and the room block, see our Hotel page. If you have specific accessibility needs at the venue, please contact us and we will do our best to help arrange them.
Requesting accommodations
You can share dietary needs when you register, and we pass them along to catering. For any other accommodation — at the event or on this site — just contact us and we will work with you.
Tell us how we are doing
If you run into a barrier on this site or have an idea for making it better, we want to hear from you. Email contact@secoconference.com or call (770) 378-8408.
