The experts will be on hand to show you through the homes that will be on display during the lunch hour. Session 3: Selling New Homes in Communities

Filing vacant sites increases cash flow and community value. Repo homes are old and expensive. The lessons learned by Michael Power of MHC Investor while he managed the Re-Hab of over 1,000 mobile homes in the past 12 years.  Recently Michael has managed the Rehab and Re-Leasing of 60 homes in just 7 months in his 300 site Atlanta area MH Community. This will be a short presentation,  handout materials and substantial time for Q&A.

Session 10: Turning to Lemons Into Lemonade: Profiting From the New Manufactured Home Appraisal Rules

Presenter: Darren Krolewski, DataComp / MH Village

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) now requires that consumers who finance most manufactured homes be provided with an independent, third-party home valuation three days before closing the loan. The rule applies to both new and pre-owned manufactured homes financed with either real estate mortgages or chattel loans.

“Turning Lemons Into Lemonade: Profiting from the New Appraisal Rules,” to help you understand to what homes and loans these new rules apply, the new valuation products created to comply with these new rules, and how the new regulatory requirements can actually help you sell more homes. Don’t be caught unaware of the impact the new appraisal requirements will have on your business. Learn how to turn “lemons into lemonade” and put the new regulations to work in your favor.

Session 11: Exciting New Lender Developments for Communities and Home Sales

Successful filing of vacant lots in communities/ LLCs involves attractive financing to acquire homes coupled with either seller financing (eg – lease option) or conventional loans for the home buyers. This session will cover two of those necessary components: a very attractive program involving conventional financing of the home buyers, eliminating the need for seller-financing.
